Top 10 Myths About Introverts

It is on record that 25% of the population is introverted, and in today's society they are at a disadvantage.
Here are some common misconceptions about introverts:
Myth # 1 - Introverts do not like to talk.
That's not true. Introverts simply do not speak unless they have something to say. They hate talking for talking. Give an introvert something to talk about that interests you, and you will not be quiet for several days.
Myth # 2 - Introverts are shy.
Shyness has nothing to do with being introverted. Introverts are not necessarily afraid of people. What they need is a reason to interact. They do not interact because yes. If you want to talk to an introvert, always start talking. Do not worry about being polite.

Myth # 3 - Introverts are rude.
Introverts often do not see a reason to walk the limbs with social jokes. They want everyone to be just real and honest. Unfortunately, this is not acceptable on most occasions, so introverts may feel a lot of pressure to adapt, that they find it exhausting.

Myth # 4 - Introverts do not like people.
On the contrary, introverts strongly value the few friends they have. They can tell their closest friends with the fingers of one hand. If you are lucky enough for an introverted person to consider you a friend, you are likely to have a loyal lifelong ally. Once you have earned your respect for being a person with substance, you are inside.
Myth # 5 - Introverts do not like going out in public.
Silly stuff. Introverts do not like going out in public all the time. They also like to avoid the complications of being involved in public activities. They analyze data and experiences very quickly, and therefore do not need to be there for long to "find out how things are going." They are ready to go home, recharge, and process everything. In fact, recharge is absolutely crucial for introverts.
Myth 6 - Introverts always want to be alone.
Introverts feel perfectly comfortable with their own thoughts. They think a lot. They dream awake. They like having trouble working, puzzles to solve. But you can also feel very lonely if you have no one to share your discoveries with. They want an authentic and sincere connection with one person at a time.
Myth # 7 - Introverts are strange.
Introverts tend to be individualistic. They do not follow the crowd. They prefer to be valued for their own life forms. They think for themselves and because of this, they often defy standards. They do not make most decisions based on what is popular or fashionable.
Myth # 8 - Introverts are distant nerds.
Introverts are people who look all inward, paying special attention to their thoughts and emotions. It is not that they are unable to pay attention to what is happening around them, It is just that their inner world is much more stimulating and rewarding for them.
Myth # 9 - Introverts do not know how to relax and have fun.
Introverts usually relax at home or in nature, not in busy public places. Introverts are not thrill seekers and adrenaline junkies. If there is too much noise and people talking, they close. Their brains are very sensitive to a neurotransmitter called dopamine. Introverts and extroverts have different dominant neurological pathways.
Myth # 10 - Introverts can manage themselves and become extroverts.
A world without introverts would be a world with few scientists, musicians, artists, poets, filmmakers, doctors, mathematicians, writers and philosophers. Having said that, There are still a lot of techniques that extroverts can learn in order to interact with introverts. (Yes, reverse these two terms in order to show how our society is biased.) Introverts can not "get ready" and deserve respect for their natural temperament and their contributions to the human race.
In fact, one study (Silverman, 1986) showed that the percentage of introverts increases with IC.
