The Minister of Labour and Productivity (State), James Ocholi is dead.
Ocholi who is a lawyer and Senior Advocate of Nigeria and currently the National Deputy
Legal Adviser of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He contested the Kogi State governorship race in 201on the platform of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) and lost to the incumbent. He also sought the APC gubernatorial ticket at the party’s primary election recently and lost to the former governor of the state, Prince
Abubakar Audu.
Ocholi attended Ochaja Secondary School, then proceeded to the University of Jos. He finished from the Nigerian Law
School in 1986 and was admitted to the Nigerian Bar the same year.
He was appointed the Minister of Labour and Productivity (State), James Ocholi was said to have died in a fatal motor accident while travelling along Abuja – Kaduna road with two other passengers.
The accident involved a Prado jeep and another Lexus jeep .
His Wife and Son are said to be in serious coma. See photo below
