Recently, one of Nollywood stars was attacked and beaten as a result of the politics going on in the Movie terrain. The Actors’ Guild of Nigeria is an organisation whose out-going president Ejike Asiegbu was meant to vacate office last month but was granted an extension.
The extension was granted by Kanayo who is a the head of the committee meant to oversee the hand-over and possibly a new election.
The members got angry on hearing that Kanayo was granting Asiegbu an extension in terms of vacating his office.
They had to turn on him melting out their anger in a horrible way
