~Timaya's New Girl Friend....
Timaya Speaks On New Girl Friend
"I have a new lover but I don't want to disclose her name. She is a graduate of Madonna University. She's a banker. She's good, beautiful and the best thing that ever happened to me. She was a model before. She worked with Oceanic Bank before in Port Harcourt, but I told her to quit because men usually harass female bankers. Because of that I pay her salary every month. I met her through a friend, Austin, in Port Harcourt. He had always been telling me to come to Port Harcourt to meet this lady. Once again, this girl is everything I want in a lady. I'm not afraid if anybody is reading this. The three things that keeps a woman is - good sex, money and attention. I give her all that" Timaya tells Encomium Weekly in a recent interview...

Ekaette song gets banned
The controversial and hilarious hit song (and the video), Ekaette, sung by Nigerian returnee Maye Hunta, has been banned by the National Broadcasting commission (NBC) with effect from today, according to information contained in a memo obtained by NAIJALABEL.
The document, which was signed by the commission's zonal director, Ojone Otonoku, said the song and its video were banned because "of its graphic description of sexual scenes and expression not presented with fact and discretion. Stations are therefore requested to immediately stop further broadcast of this musical and air only a broadcast version (if any)..."
However, reacting in a telephone chat, the singer defended his lyrics and concept. "If you listen through to the song it is very clean," he said. "I don't know what exactly they are getting at. For me I just feel that what will be will be they can ban it on radio and on TV but the fans are the people who are going to decide."
The artist, real name Olumayowa Adekunle Odejimi, also denied prior knowledge of the ban citing the April Fool's day as a major reason at first. "They haven't written to tell me; what happened was that I saw it on the net when some guy tagged me in a note then a friend of mine who works at a radio station called me to say the song has been banned, and I am like ‘Wahala' they just want to give me more publicity," he said, laughing.
He also added that plans are in a works for a sequel because ‘'fans are loving it..NBC are just a bunch of people who have issues. I mean I listen to the radio and hear foreign songs that are worse than mine. My song is about things that happens and have happened and so I all I did was just to bring it to the fore. I am not moved. I want to believe it is true, although I thought it was April Fool at first. Funny enough, normally NBC pick a list of songs but this time around it's just my song they picked. Bad belle people!"
Other Nigerian songs that have been banned by the NBC include Femi Kuti's Bang Bang Bang, Idrees Abdulkareem's Jaga Jaga, Konga's Baby Konga, Tuface's Enter the Place video and Dbanj's Suddenly. The NBC ban on Ekaette comes five months after its October release

TOBA GOLD SWINDLES GAY PARTNER
Toba Gold is the guy who sang the popular song Jeje. He is tall and handsome. He has an aura that will make women fall over themselves to crave for his attention. This musical act, information emanating from the UK reveals that, his last trip to London was not favourable due to his double shuffle’s act he displayed to his alleged gay partner who paid for his air fare. Toba, amongst other artistes, we were reliable informed, is known to be a pervert. Several times he has been linked to man-to-man affair with top politicians and entertainers, and he was said not to have denied or confirmed any of such insinuations by the public.
The straw that broke the camel hunchback in his last trip to London is that, when he got to London, he was said to be staying with his ‘partner’ in the illicit act and for weeks, the two are said to be together doing all sorts of immoral acts. After a while, Toba, rumour has it, started sleeping with other friends (males) of his benefactor and partner even to the knowledge of the guy.
The guy sees that as a slap on him and he was said to have plotted a coup that eventually took Toba Gold back to the country. As you’re reading this, Toba is said to have lost virtually everything in the process of trying to leave London in a hurry. Toba Gold also release a song titled ‘Omoge Wa Femi’ about two years now. One of his musical video was shot by the diminutive Jordan Johnson.

Eucharia Bids farewell to nollywood
There are indications that one of Nollywood’s most versatile actresses, Eucharia Anunobi has bid the make-believe industry farewell.
The light-skinned thespian who had been in and out of court for sometime now over a divorce case she filed against her estranged husband, Mr. Ekwu, cheap at a Lagos High Court, said she is currently doing other things.
Eucharia, while on a Facebook chat last Monday She stressed that she has moved on with her life and that coming back to the face the camera is not part of her plans for now.
When asked what has been happening to her all this while following the messy fall-out between her and Mr. Ekwu, Eucharia simply said “everything is fine now.”
What about acting? Is there any hope that her teeming fans who have obviously missed her acting skills in fresh Nollywood flicks would see her anytime soon? “I do other things now…” that was her response.
Although she refused to give details of what she is doing at the moment,Naijalabel learnt that if she eventually returns to acting, it may take a long while perhaps after the dust created by her marriage break-up settles.
