~MI2 ALBUM LUNCH~ABUJA PICS
| On December 10th, 2010, Mr. Incredible, took his MI2 album launch event to Abuja, and Jaguda.com was there to cover the event. The event lived up to its hype and much more. The show was obviously set to be and epic event. MI performed each song on the album, “Chapter” by “Chapter”, Scene by Scene in the form of a movie, MI2. Each scene retold the stories behind each track, and the audience was given a nice and intriguing show. The high point though was when he performed Wild Wild West, a song that touches on the issues arising from the Jos crisis over the past couple of years (more especially earlier this year). Mr. Abaga got so furious that he reached a point of insulting the government while performing, and kept the crowd sober for about 5 mins. A favorite among the ladies, the performance with Waje for One Naira got the girls extremely excited as most of them sang along. Other artists that shared the stage with him included Praise, Loose Kaynon, Brymo, Jesse and of course IcePrince. The Chocolate city management was fully represented with Audu visibly present on the scene. Pheroshuz was also in the building. MI, a solid performer kept the crowd involed by picking people from the crowd to join in the perfomance on stage and in some cases act out scenes from the album. In classic MI form he closed the show like he closes the album, with his tune “imperfect me” where he called on friends to get on stage and criticize him. Shortly after the wrap of his MI2 movie showing he performed Oleku with Brymo and the party began. All in all it was a very entertaining show with lots of high moments of fun, and sober moments of reflection. Classic MI… He rarely disappoints, and he made this event the biggest of its kind in Abuja, this year. | |
Girlfriend Fights Actor Murphy Afolabi over Infidelity
| Katakata burst out at a film location recently in Abeokuta. It was at the making of a new movie by the lady who produced Gongo Aso, a Yoruba flick. We learnt the popular actor, Murphy Afolabi and his long time actress girlfriend; Wunmi Ajiboye almost let hell loose at the film location which also had Toyin Aimakhu on set. According to an eye witness, actor Murphy Afolabi has been eyeing a particular lady at the film location. Later on, he made passes at the lady and she agreed to meet him at his reserved room. Just few minutes after the girl entered the actor’s room, some friends of Wunmi Ajiboye hinted her and she went banging the door of the room. We gathered that, Wunmi was shouting on top of her voice, saying, “Murphy I know you are there with a lady, open the door!”. The actor, who knew what could happen, refused to open the door until much later when Wunmi had been calmed. After the embarrassing situation, the producer of the movie gave the upcoming actress, the beating of her life and sent her out of the location premises after pleading with Wunmi who also featured in the movie. The two lovers didn’t speak with each other till they left the movie location. But we learnt they are back together now and things have returned back to normal between the two love birds. | |||

Funke Akindele of the popular JENIFA fame has constantly been in the public eye since her young days of “I need to know’. A popular drama series on television. And now, after featuring in several home videos, gathering quite a lot of accolades and winning numerous awards to her credit, as well as sky rocketing to the ‘A’ list of Nigerian act. The sultry actres is back to grace our screens with a reload of her well celebrated and popular film ‘Jenifa’. A comedy film which not only saw her hitting the ‘A’ spot but also clink the champagne flute with the country’s pop icons, rap gods, designers on top of their game and other entertainment guru. Currently on locations around Ikeja and Lekki, the film titled ‘The return of Genifa’ promised the best of Nollywood actress and top on the league in the music Industry. ‘Sources say ‘the return of Jenifa’ has award winner rapper, MI who might be eyeing Nollwood sequel to his sophomore album ‘MI2 HE MOVIE’. Another source in the know, close to the actress debunk the current buzz making around town that the actress is few months pregnant as false and ridiculous at a time when the actress currently works with major acts in the industry to set standards in Nollywood. ‘I think the pregnancy tale is uncalled for. If she is pregnancy, she wouldn’t be on locations right now, knowing full well the psychological impact I will have on her and he movie’. Muhdeen S .Ayinde the movie director says’ the movie will take our audience through the consequences of all actions and all unresolved plots will be solved amicable. And all so his time we are working with a large audience and beer equipments. We will ensure that the audience sees a tighter movie’. TIMAYA'S STORY....PLANTAIN BOY...
| I’m a very rich boy’ Evidently, Enetimi Odom, the singer popularly known as Timaya has come a long way from the Toyota Camry 2.2-cruising artiste of 2007, one of the benefits of the commercial success that trailed his debut album, True Story. When this reporter got to his well-appointed 5-bedroom duplex in Marwa Gardens, Ikeja, Lagos, last Monday afternoon, he was greeted by a glittering Range Rover Sport 2010. Black and shimmering, the ‘expensive machine’ was parked in front of the duplex. Inside, a white Escalade truck valued at about N10m sits in stately grandeur. “I love cars,” he quips. No doubt. Before he relocated from Port Harcourt, Rivers State where he had cultivated a cult-like following, Timaya was always an enviable sight in Lagos in his bullet-proof Jaguar and BMW X5, both of which, he says, he has given to his sisters. “I get tired easily of cars. When I bought the Escalade last January, I was awed by its sheer functionality and beauty and I thought I would drive it for a very long time. But a few months later, I got tired of it and bought the Range (Rover) which has been like my official car for some months now.” Apparently, Timaya lives the roller coaster life he sings about. However, life has not always been this sweet for him. In Plantain Boy, the lead single off his current album, De-Rebirth, he talks about his humble beginnings, and how rich he is now which does not beggar much belief going by available indices. But, how rich is he really? Without as much as a twitch, he says, ”A few years ago, I could not afford three square meals; I had nowhere to stay; I was actually squatting with a girlfriend who would send me out of her house at the slightest offence. But now, my story has changed. “For every man, three things are fundamental, clothes, food and shelter. Those are no longer my problems. So, I‘m a very rich boy. I don‘t need to be as rich as (Mike) Adenuga to know that I am rich.” Timaya admits that sometimes he looks at himself and wonders whether his life is a fairy tale because “Whenever I look at my account, I get scared and ask myself, is all this money for me?” | |

What do you like in man, and I mean that in terms of his physique, Tejubaby Face asked the beautiful actress on his show that aired last night.
Genny said she doesn't care what a man looks like, all that matters to her is his heart. "I like a man with a very good heart". she said.
So Tejubabyface brings out a picture of her and D'Banj and asked "Is there any truth in this?"
"He has a very very good heart" Genevieve replied, blushing.

Biggest Breasts In The World,
Sheyla Hershey, a Brazilian model who lives in Houston wanted to have the largest breasts in the world, and she did achieve it when she had M-cup implants put into place. After more than 30 plastic surgeries, Hershey suffered her first complication following her most recent breast augmentation procedure in June. A severe staph infection reached both of Hershey's breasts.
Staph infections can enter the bloodstream and be life threatening. She has had to give herself infusions of intravenous antibiotics every twelve hours to fight the infection. The treatment has helped one breast, but doctors say the other one is still in jeopardy. That would mean that she will not only lose both implants, but quite possibly need to have the entire breast removed.
Doctors who are concerned for her life took Hershey into surgery just this past Tuesday to remove the implants.
"I had large fever and painful. I just couldn't breathe properly; it was terrible! I was in bed all day, couldn't get up," says Hershey.

Nigeria's former Information Minister Dora Akunyili (L) receives a party member card from All Progressive Grand Alliance Chairman Victor Umeh after announcing her senatorial ambition in the parliament for the 2011 general elections in the capital Abuja December 15, 2010. For the first time, a Nigerian artiste came clean on the financial value of his album. "This is not to prove any point, it's only to inspire someone that we are doing this. Mr Abhu can you step up please" said M.I, and with that intro, CEO Abhu ventures, a strong force in the Alaba 'conglomerate' presented a N20million cheque to M.I in exchange for distribution rights to his MI2 album through out West Africa. - Vanguard Newspapers

KWEEN SETS TO MARRY~~~
| We have just been tipped off, by inside sources, that Kween Onokala and her partner Dotun Omotoye are exchanging wedding vows at a Lagos registry tomorrow Tuesday December 21. Omotoye, who’s the father of Kween’s second son Tyronne, is a Lagos-based club proprietor who runs popular club ‘The Place’. The pair have been dating for a while now; with Omotoye announcing shortly after Kween got pregnant in 2008, that he would marry her. And just when many were beginning to think the wedding plans would never materialise, Kween returned home months back, after two years hibernating in London. And, while many would expect her to rush back into music and put her career back in shape, the gifted singer is putting marriage first – setting her mind on the man of her dreams and preparing to settle down to married life.
